Recently graduated, it dawned on me that it's best to turn this site into my online portfolio. I'll also add some fun stuff, like my meanderings the creative side of producing. Yes, there is such a thing!

We wrapped the shoot and I feel good. My aeternal thanks to all involved (see filmmakers for complete credits.) Here's some stills:

We were shooting in Berkeley, and Joel told me about the 3.2 quakes in Dublin. What can I say?

A 30 second extract of a Thom Andersen essay on cinematic space that my film relates to.

March 20-23, 2008. Hopefully there will be a small earthquake during the shoot.

We're currently in preproduction. I've just finished the script, so the awaited rewrite phase has begun. Ernest Hemingway said it best... "the first draft of everything is shite."

Another thing that keeps us busy is searching for a visual effects artist who's interested in composing very simple and subtle digital matte compositions. All the shots will be shot on a static tripod, so no rotoscoping is required. If you're a creative, enthusiastic and a fan of matte effects, and love to do crazy color timing... say, maybe you'd like to work on The Fault. If so, we'd love to hear from you. Send us a link to your film, reel, youtube channel, etc.
